In short: Some links in the IN MY FRIDGE bot and on this website are affiliate links. When you click on them and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the service running and improving.

1. What are affiliate links?

Affiliate links are special URLs that contain a tracking tag. When you click one and make a purchase on the partner's website, IN MY FRIDGE receives a small referral commission from the partner. The price you pay is exactly the same — you are never charged more for using our links.

2. Where do affiliate links appear?

When our affiliate programmes are approved, affiliate links may appear in the following places:

Telegram bot: after generating a recipe that requires 1–3 additional ingredients, you may see a "Buy on Amazon" or similar delivery button. These buttons would contain affiliate tags.
Website and blog: product recommendations, kitchen tool suggestions, or grocery delivery links in our blog articles may contain affiliate tags.

Affiliate links are always optional. You are never required to click them, and the core functionality of IN MY FRIDGE (photo recognition, ingredient editing, recipe generation) works independently of any affiliate programme.

3. Our affiliate partners

We are in the process of applying to affiliate programmes, including Amazon Associates and grocery delivery partners. Until our applications are approved, product and delivery links on this site and in the bot may be placeholders or non-affiliate links.

When programmes are approved, we will update this page. Affiliate links will then allow us to earn a small commission when you make a purchase through our links, at no extra cost to you.

4. Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence recipe generation, ingredient recognition, or any recommendation made by IN MY FRIDGE. Our recipes are generated based solely on the ingredients you provide and your chosen dish type. We do not promote specific brands or products in recipes to earn affiliate commissions.

5. Why we use affiliate links

Running IN MY FRIDGE involves costs for servers, image recognition, recipe generation, and ongoing development. Affiliate commissions help offset these costs and allow us to offer a generous free tier (10 recipes per month) without requiring payment from every user.

6. Your choices

You always have the option to:

Ignore affiliate links entirely and purchase ingredients from any store you prefer.
Copy ingredient names from the recipe and search for them on any shopping platform directly.
Use the recipe without purchasing any additional ingredients at all.

7. FTC and EU compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), as well as EU consumer protection and transparency regulations. We are committed to being transparent about how we earn revenue.
